SNOWBOARD
The discipline of Snowboard has 4 levels instruction strand.
The freestyle coaching, coaching theory module, Off piste Security, second discipline and second language form the ISIA stamp qualification with the ISIA card being awarded at level 4.
SNOWBOARD QUALIFICATION PATHWAY
Level 1 SNOWBOARD Instructor
The Level 1 Snowboard Instructor is the first award available in the snowboard qualification pathway.
Holders of this award can work in the closed environment of an artificial slope or indoor snow dome. Once you have decided on a course you will need to join as an Associate Member.
Level 2 SNOWBOARD Instructor
Gaining the Level 2 Snowboard Instructor award opens up many more teaching opportunities with snowsports schools in mountain resorts.
Holders of this award can work in the open mountain environment for a recognised snowsport school, on piste.
Level 3 SNOWBOARD TEACHER
The Level 3 Snowboard Teacher comprises of many different modules and requires dedication and a serious committment to the job of teaching snowsports.
The award meets the minimum standards required by the International Ski Instructors Association; ISIA and holders of this prestigious award get the ISIA stamp on their licence.
Level 4 SNOWBOARD TEACHER
The Level 4 Snowboard Teacher comprises of many different modules and requires dedication and a serious committment to the job of teaching snowsports.
The award meets the minimum standards required by the International Ski Instructors Association; ISIA and holders of this prestigious award get the ISIA stamp on their licence.
