During the last six weeks, the IASI Board has been involved in a project to shape and clarify the Association’s strategy for the next two to three years. The project involved research with a cross-section of different types of member, and listening to the variety of viewpoints has not only been extremely useful in determining our direction, but means that this strategy has been developed very much from the ground up.
Very many thanks again to all those members who volunteered their time to be interviewed, and I’m only sorry that we weren’t able to speak to you all this time.
The attached presentation is a summary of the journey we’ve been on with this project. From the founding of the Association, through the upheavals of recent years, to what we are now, and the areas where we need to focus our attention in order to continue to develop and (sustainably) grow. We hope you enjoy reading it, and also hope that it will give every IASI member a clearer idea of what IASI stands for, and where we want to take the Association going forward.
After this weekend’s AGM is over, if you have any comments or questions about this document, please don’t hesitate to contact the new board to discuss.
